Get Out & Have Fun with Your Pets!

New York City is a place of endless possibilities – including fun things to do with your pet!
Your pet is your best friend, so why not get out and have some fun in the sun this summer season?
If you are spending time with your pet outside, make sure they are on parasite preventives! Fleas, ticks and various other harmful parasites are around, even in this concrete jungle! Also, make sure to bring plenty of water for your furry friend so they can stay cool and hydrated in the heat.
Did you just welcome a new puppy to your home?
Check out Wine N’ Puppies by the Wag Club. Every Monday, bring your puppy (4 months or younger) to this event where they can socialize with other puppies while you enjoy some vino! Wine tasting is hosted by Waterfront Wine & Spirits.
Are you a sports fanatic?
Bring your pooch to a baseball game! On Sunday, August 14th, watch the Brooklyn Cyclones take on the West Virginia Black Bears with your pup at your side. There will also be pet adoptions!
Looking to grab a bite to eat?
Bring your dog with you to Shake Shack and you can enjoy a delicious meal while your dog chooses from the dog menu! Treats such as Bag O’ Bones and Pooch-ini are commonly served.
Do you love shopping?
Manhattan has countless pet stores that are worth checking out! Fetch Club, The Salty Paw and Wagwear to name a few.
Go to a dog park!
Let your dog run and play with other pups at the Sirius Dog Run! Located along the Hudson River in Battery Park, this is a tribute to a valiant K9 who lost his life during the 9/11 attacks. There are several other great dog park locations throughout the city, so enjoy the day with your pup at a dog park nearest you!
Central Park is made for dogs and dog lovers!
Bring your pet (on-leash) to Hound Hikes, which presents the unique history of Central Park. You must be pre-registered so check out the website beforehand!
Attend My Dog Loves Central Park Fair on Saturday, October 1, 2016. This is taking place post-summer season, so mark your calendars!
